Specialist financial insight and advice for RCS members
04 Jul 2019
We are aware, following changes to the tax-free pensions allowance that came into effect in April 2016, that fellows and members may be seeking professional advice.
Although we are not able to offer personal pensions advice, we encourage our fellows and members to seek independent financial advice and consider all the information and options available before making any decisions. As one way to offer support, we have entered into an arrangement with Chase de Vere Medical, a leading specialist independent financial adviser to the medical profession, who will now be offering their financial services to RCS members.
You can access a wealth of free informative articles, guides and events, created by financial specialists specifically for medical professionals, on the Chase de Vere Medical website.
Please be advised that the Royal College of Surgeons of England is not recommending this supplier above all other potential advisers. Members should shop around to get the best service for their own needs.
Starting with a free introductory consultation, RCS members can also benefit from personalised, impartial financial advice.

About the RCS and Chase de Vere Medical arrangement
The RCS has entered into an introducer agreement with Chase de Vere Medical, to be able to signpost members to independent financial advice. The RCS will receive 10% commission on any paid-for advice members receive from Chase de Vere. No charges associated with this arrangement are passed on to members, and any income received will be used to further the RCS's charitable aims and objectives.
The RCS is not recommending or quality assuring the service provided by Chase de Vere Medical and encourages members to make their decisions independently, at their own discretion and choice.
