Share your surgical innovations 

With surgery transforming rapidly and new innovations from surgical teams being more important than ever, we are committed to supporting our members to stay up to date with advancements and be at the forefront of new innovations and technologies. Alongside our recent Future of Surgery report, and launch of our new Surgical Innovation, New Techniques and Technologies guidance, we are pleased to be providing you with more of this content through the Bulletin and our other news channels.

We would also like the input of our many innovative fellows and members. If you have an example of a surgical innovation that has been successfully implemented in your hospital/trust, our resident Technologist in the Bulletin, Ryan Kerstein, would love to hear from you. Please email us with some information, including:

• a product name or process improved;
• a brief description of the innovation;
• the stage of development (using the IDEAL framework)
• if applicable, the details of the type of collaborators you are looking for or advice you would like to receive;
• your contact details.

We are exploring the idea of creating a platform which can help foster our community of surgical innovators, to share ideas and network.
