2025 Council and Board elections open

We are pleased to announce that voting is officially open for the 2025 elections for the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS England) Council and the Faculty of Dental Surgery (FDS) Board. Fellows and members are encouraged to vote based on the candidates’ election statements. By taking part in the Council elections, you help shape the future of our profession. This is your opportunity to have a say in who represents you and your colleagues. There are 24 qualified and passionate candidates ready to step into four vacancies on Council, and 19 FDS candidates for five vacancies on the Board.
How to vote
Fellows and members can cast their votes by visiting our 2025 election website where you will also find full election statements from each candidate. You have been sent a unique voting link in an email from Civica Election Services on 20 February or a unique voting code via post from Civica Election Services.Voting will close at 5pm on Wednesday 2 April 2025.
The successful candidates will be announced to the membership after Thursday 10 April 2025 and will commence their terms in June and July.
