  • 2019 FDS Research Day

    16 Jul 2019 The annual FDS Research symposium on current research in oral disease – solutions and challenges was held on 14th June 2019. The speakers were international leaders of clinical research as evidenced by their successful track record of grant securement, generation of high quality original research papers, research supervision and/or influence upon national and international health care policy.

    20 Jun 2019 The 2019 Regional and Specialty Advisors Day was held at the Royal College of Surgeons on 20th June and included a variety of interesting topics covered by a wealth of excellent speakers.

    15 May 2019 The membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons has elected four members to the FDS Board at the ballot held on Friday 10 May.

  • 2019 FDS Board Elections Voting Now Open

    22 Mar 2019 Voting is now open for the 2019 Faculty of Dental Surgery Board election. From now until Thursday 9th May 2019, Fellows and Members of the Faculty of Dental Surgery are encouraged to vote for their preferred candidates in the Board of Faculty election. The election will take place on Friday 10th May 2019.

  • Appointment of new Vice Deans at October Board Meeting

    30 Oct 2018 The October meeting of the FDS Board saw the official appointment of Dr Selina Master as Senior Vice Dean and Mr Matthew Garrett as the Junior Vice Dean of the Faculty. Outgoing Senior Vice Dean, Professor Stephen Porter has reached the end of his tenure as a Vice Dean, however will remain on the FDS Board.
