Comment on the reconfiguration of services in North West London
31 Oct 2013
Commenting on the reconfiguration of services in North West London, Professor Norman Williams, President of the Royal College of Surgeons, said:
‘This has been an extensive, thorough and clinically led process. Patients have been involved in decision making at every stage, and the impact has been carefully assessed with full medical input. These decisions are never easy but what matters is how, not where, a patient is treated, so that they receive the best possible care.’
