Licence in Dental Surgery
Exam overview
The Licence in Dental Surgery (LDS) is a globally-recognised qualification designed for dentists with primary dental qualifications from outside the UK. It is a three-part exam: Part 1 is a remote written exam, while Parts 2 and 3 are in-person exams held over a two- and one-day period, respectively.
Passing the LDS signifies excellence and competence in dentistry, allows you to register with the General Dental Council (GDC) and practice in the UK. RCS England exclusively hosts this exam.
