MRCS OSCE Prep Course
This condensed one-day course aims to prepare surgical trainees for the MRCS Part B Objective Structured Clinical Exam (MRCS OSCE).
You will gain an insight into the structure of the exam; as well as the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions focusing on the different types of OSCE stations found in the examination. Participants will also be briefed on the importance of communication skills and how they contribute to the way candidates are assessed.
This course is great for those wanting to improve their general knowledge of the MRCS OSCE format, and develop their communication skills in preparation for the exam.

Suitability
You are only eligible for this course if you have attempted the MRCS Part A Examination.
Learning Outcomes
During the course, you will:

Format
This is a one day course focused on giving you a better understanding of the MRCS OSCE.
Attendees will be briefed on the exam format, and then receive an introduction to communication skills from highly experienced professional actors. Later in the day, attendees will be divided into small groups and get the opportunity to test their communications skills and knowledge through various breakout sessions.
Light refreshments will be available throughout the day, and lunch will be provided.
