This course is suitable for doctors at FY2 grade and above, and could also be valuable for more senior clinicians.
Learning Outcomes
After completing these courses, you will be able to use applied anatomy (gross, microscopic, embryological, surface and positional) to:
- explain normal body structure and function, and common malfunction related to the upper and lower limbs
- describe, investigate, diagnose and manage common surgical conditions and presentations related to the upper and lower limbs
- enable competent physical examination and procedural skills of the upper and lower limbs
- inform competent surgical history taking
Format and Modules
The courses are delivered in an eLearning format, meaning you can study independently at your own pace, referring back to the learning material at any point. You will have access to this course for three years.

Upper limb: Arterial, venous and lymphatic overview
Upper limb: Neural focus – ulnar nerve
Upper limb: Neural focus – median nerve
Lower limb: Neural focus – obturator nerve
