Revalidation
Revalidation is a process of regulation for all doctors that practice medicine in the UK. Every five years doctors must demonstrate that they are up-to-date and still fit to practise. It is intended that this will promote patient safety, improve patient care, strengthen CPD and reinforce systems that identify doctors who are in need of professional support.
Revalidation takes place locally, and doctors are expected to provide evidence of the practice and development.
