Overview
The national SAS conference is being delivered in collaboration with the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges. This hybrid event will cover a range of topics of relevance and interest to all specialties such as how to maximise SAS career potential and how to maintain wellbeing. Delegates will also be invited to attend our free virtual CESR conference organised in collaboration with Health Education England South West and the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges on Thursday 12 May 2022.
Who should attend?
This conference is open to all career grades and specialties, especially those interested in SAS career development. If you want to receive practical advice, updates on the recent national work and network online with a range of professionals, this is the event for you. As the event is hybrid, you can choose whether to attend in person or online as the majority of the sessions will be streamed via a virtual platform.
Sessions include:
- the past, the present and the future of SAS surgeons;
- updates from the the AoMRC, BMA, GMC, HEE, NHS Employers and MWRES;
- personal development and work–life balance;
- opportunities to ask any questions you might have to our speakers.
