Anatomy e-learning writers
We are launching a project to develop bitesize e-learning modules teaching anatomy to support trainees preparing for the MRCS Part B exam.
Our aim is to develop innovative resources, bringing in new technology to enhance the learning experience.
We are looking for writers, who will work with editors and learning designers to draft e-learning storyboards using templates provided. Writers are paid per module produced.
We would be particularly interested in hearing from applicants with the following background:
- Achieved a PhD and have held an academic position within a reputable higher education institute, preferably a medical school, and have at least five years’ experience teaching clinically applied anatomy in-person using real human tissue.
- Or medical qualification (MBChB, MBBS) with MRCS and experience of teaching clinical anatomy and using/applying clinical anatomy on a daily basis. MRCP/MRCEM/FRCR will also be considered if the applicant has experience of teaching clinical anatomy.
- Although not essential, you may also have experience of teaching and assessing postgraduate-level clinical anatomy.
If you are interested in being involved or would just like to find out more information, please contact the Project Manager Jutta Mackwell at EducationInnovation@rcseng.ac.uk with a copy of your CV.
