Urology eLearning

About this module

This module provides a surgical overview of some common urological disorders, ranging from urgent surgical emergencies to symptoms of other underlying pathologies.

It considers the diagnosis, investigation and management for renal colic, acute urinary retention, priapism and several conditions falling under the ‘acute’ scrotum umbrella, as well as the evaluation and differential diagnoses of a patient presenting with haematuria.

Participants will gain insight into the management pathways for each of these symptoms and conditions, as well as relevant surgical interventions and investigations such as nephrostomy and retrograde stent insertion, suprapubic catheter insertion, flexible cystoscopy, trans-urethral resection of bladder tumour (TURBT) and de-torsion of the testicle.

RCS members and RCS associates benefit 10% discount on this module. Find out if you are eligible to join or transfer.
