From 1 January 2024, APCs (article processing charges) will be fully waived for accepted Annals manuscripts where the lead or senior author is a fellow, member or affiliate member of RCS England. The Annals will also become a fully gold open access journal, meaning your work will be seen by an even wider group of people.

Intercollegiate MRCS
Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) is an intercollegiate exam for surgical trainees who wish to become a member of one of the four UK and Ireland surgical royal colleges.
Get involved with our activities

International Fellowship Examination (JSCFE)
On passing the JSCFE you will be awarded the international qualification FRCS (College) (Int) (Specialty) and are eligible to apply for election as a fellow to any of the four royal colleges.
