Event Overview

Overview

The outbreak of COVID-19 has created an unprecedented challenge to our health service. Over the coming weeks surgeons, surgical teams, alongside every doctor, nurse and health or care professional, will be facing increasingly difficult challenges because of this pandemic. Join our President, Professor Derek Alderson and Chief Executive, Andrew Reed for a regular Q&A to provide a platform for discussion and feedback on how the surgical workforce is coping with COVID-19.

How will you benefit?

Tune into our webinar on Thursday 26 March for a Q&A with the RCS President and Chief Executive. This will provide both support and an opportunity to feed your concerns and ideas through to us. We will then make sure that your views inform our conversations with government and with colleagues across the NHS.

Please feel free to send over any questions in advance to rcsevents@rcseng.ac.uk with the subject title ‘COVID-19 Q&A’.

Who should tune in?

All career grades, including members of the SAS and the extended Surgical Care Team. The webinar is available for free to all our associate and affiliate members.

Though the live webinar has a capacity of 500 attendees, all the resources and the full recording of the webinar will be uploaded onto the website after the event.
