RCS England Council and FDS Board nominations open for 2024
This year, we have eight seats on Council and three seats on the FDS Board available as the term of office comes to an end for some of those who have helped us navigate the challenges of the pandemic, deliver our stunning new headquarters in the heart of London and realise our aims and ambitions in the development of our five-year strategy.
Good governance sits at the heart of every successful charitable organisation, and our College is no different. We are asking you to be part of our governance structure by standing for two of our most influential decision making boards, RCS England Council and the FDS Board.
In these leadership roles, you will support the many functions of the College in influencing the advancement of surgical and dental care here in the UK and worldwide, extending the frontiers of surgery through research and innovation and delivering rigorous and ongoing learning and assessment to the surgical and dental workforce. We are led by members for members, and we need your help to achieve our mission of enabling our members, in all their diversity, to deliver excellence in everything they do.
Civica Election Services have contacted every voting member providing information on how to nominate yourself for a Council or Board role. If you are interested in nominating yourself for one of these critically important vacancies, we encourage you to complete the nomination form by 5pm on Friday 2 February 2024.
