Ceremonies

All eligible members and fellows will be invited to the ceremony. If you would like to ensure you are on the invitation list for upcoming ceremonies, please contact the Events Team

The next ceremonies for fellows and members of RCS England and the Faculty of Dental Surgery (FDS) will be held in March 2024. The invitation for these ceremonies have been sent in early December 2023.

Upcoming ceremonies will now be held in our newly transformed home of surgery at Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.

Diplomate Presentation Ceremonies are held to welcome successful MRCS candidates and new fellows to the College. Once you have passed your exam, you will receive an invitation to join RCS England and, following this, an invitation to book your ceremony.

Please note, you must join the College as a member or fellow in order to attend your Diplomate Presentation Ceremony. If you miss the deadline to book or are unable to attend, you will be invited to attend the next available ceremony. You may also opt not to attend – in this case, please get in touch with the Events team, and we will arrange to have your certificate posted to you.

Ceremonies are held on multiple occasions throughout the calendar year and book up quickly. To avoid missing your preferred date, please ensure to book your tickets as early as possible once you have received the invitation email.

We also hold an annual ceremony for fellows and members of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (FDS).

Please check our ceremonies FAQ page for further information.
